Thinking friends

On proposed legislation on Reparation in California to African Americans. Reparations are usually associated with slavery or in the case of Germany, death camps.
First, California was not a slave state. Second African Americans may have not or have been descendants of slaves but have had 160 years to work for compensation.

The goal is this country help everyone move up.

The issue is culture values. Instead of spending disposable income on consumer items, schools must teach investing in mutual funds, ETF’s even if small amounts. Schools
should suggest trade schools as well as colleges. If anyone deserves reparation in California, it’s native people. The most liberal so-called progressive will not deed their houses to them.

Furthermore, reparation will come from Mexicans, Irish, Italians and 175 other nationalities who arrived in California after civil war. They didn’t own plantations. Even
lenders didn’t redline because of color, rather credit risk.
