I voted for President Trump and support many of his initiatives. However, I disagree with his decision to use Justice Department to ban law firms based on their opinions and who they represent. Checks and balances are essential. As a private citizen, Trump has the right to sue for any wrongdoing or illegalities. By banning these firms, he is perpetuating the same injustices that the government inflicted upon him, especially in New York State and City.

Thinking Friends
Why not see both sides of arguments? Tariffs are a ying yang. We should build steel and ships here again. This is an attempt to make chips, pills, autos, antivirals (not clothes or toys) etc. here and get tariff revenue. Let’s open Midwest auto and steel factories. Can they compete on world stage if tariff is 30% as EU does to our cars.
If not vigilant, the Chinese will pass us in biotech and AI. They work harder than we do for the most part. Now better educated. Our primary schools in poor areas are monopolistic union controlled entities teaching skin color and history to the detriment of math and English and fundamentals. We need school competition Charter schools.
Respectfully,
Peter

To our “poor kids”.
You are here. You were born. Others would have been wound up as sperm on a bedsheet. Take advantage of it. Breather. Go to parties. Look at trees. See the sun. Stick your toes into ocean or lakes. Raise a sick dog. Volunteer to help old people. Quit bitching and focus on a way to make a buck that’s legal. Stay away from drugs. Inner City schools should cross pollinize, bring in teachers with experience in building business, working in trades, being a professor. This could mean fewer jobs for Black teachers or not. That’s an issue. But give students new ideas from Samoans or Irish or Jewish or Italian. It’s often a Union issue or in my view narrow thinking and harmful to kids activists who think blacks should be taught mainly by blacks. Asians will push education for example in engineering, business.
When you are young, especially if not around successful career people, you know little. If you have an idea of what you might like to do, find someone who has done it. A hairdresser, a lawyer, a doctor. Ask for advice. Go online to find him if you don’t know any. Take a bus or check with a Boys and Girls Club or Pathways For Kids.
