Build addiction centers and mental illness hospital facilities that hold up to 40, 000. Or much faster, buy eight mothballed cruise liners that hold up to 4,000 people each and dock them.

New Orleans did in Hurricane period. Eight ships will cost about $12 million each or $4,000 per person for the room. These ships can be sold for the same amount when no longer needed.

Compare $4,000 to house a person vs $500,000 to $1 million condo even if panhandle. Where to dock in San Francisco is the issue.Change policy to stop attracting new addicts daily. We are an attractive nuisance.

Steam clean the streets in Tenderloin daily or as required. Remove graffiti. Pay homeless to do it as Paris does.

My visit to five Japanese cities, I saw not a paper on the streets, all streets paved striped, people respectful, no graffiti, poop and no drugs. Tenderloin could be a theater district like London.

Caring people who believe in no criminal punishment especially of people of color and who elect our leaders who appoint our judges need to be convinced. Drug addicts have resulted in countless store theft where elderly of all colors depend on. The idea of equality for all in outcomes is silly. It took 60 years in Russia to find that out. Its equality of opportunity we must shoot for and college students in accounting, law, or trade school be electrician, plumber, contractor etc. to compete world. Conventions will return to our beautiful city if Convention organizers are no longer fearful.

Investors will invest in Union Square if not fearful. Bernard Arnault LVMH could buy the Macy’s and Sak’s buildings. That would be a big positive.
